v210

got his error of V210 on my STB since november.  catch up does not work at all.

Error started when I got sent a 360 remote in the post.  The new remote did not work so I put it away as old remote was working fine anyway.

STB is connected via ethernet. I can see it has an IP address in the box settings and it will sync also.

I just need someone to check/change whatever is the issue on my account. As when I search this issue on the forum that is what seemed to resolve for other customers.

Calling customer service is not an option for me.

If someone could help that would be great

thanks for reply.  The remote was in a box with no paperwork at all. 

 

How do I upgrade?

thanks for the guide.  

I pressed HOME button.  There is no option there to upgrade to 360.  Is the option hidden in a sub menu somewhere? or my V6 just not displaying it you think?

I tried to restart the box also buy no joy.

I only have 3 options in that section.  my favourite apps, all apps or games.  The only one which loads is games.  press ok on the other 2 and nothing happens.  Them options used to work as I had my amazon prime app working in the past.

It should be at the bottom of your main menu.

If you have the remotes then VM haven't triggered the box to enable upgrade.

Is your box definitely connected to your hub, on demand working?

on demand does not work.  error v210.

 

Yes it is connected to the hub via ethernet.  In the network settings you can see an IP address 192.168........etc.  It can sync also where it downloads channel guide and what not.

 

When i disconnect the ethernet cable a light appears on the v6 box indicating it is disconnected too.  Also tried over wifi but same issue.

 

Any ideas how I can get the box triggered?  the option is not on the main HOME menu with my v6.

You will gave to contact VM to trigger the upgrade which should then give you the option OR they may send out a new box?
