In the new TV360 EPG, why is there no HD channel selection in the categories list. I does seem to have gone backwards.

TV360 replaces SD channels with HD variants where both are in your package, so you won't see the SD version of a channel where HD is available.
There's a TV360 version of the channel guide here

When I select All Channels I get the HD and the SD channels shown, including all the +1 channels, why should I have scroll trough all of those channels to find what I want to watch. I do not want to select each type of channel to scroll through what I want to watch. It is a bit long winded. A simple HD only selection, like the old box, this upgrade is a backward move. I wish I could change back, if not I am off to Sky. The interface does not work, there are quite few basic function that you can you cannot do. A waste of Virgins money.

I'm pretty sure the Sky Q doesn't have a 'HD channel only' setting either. It does a similar SD/HD swap to the 360 platform.

I really don't get why people always assume a competitor is gonna be better (Sky in this case)...???
All you have to do is watch the plethora of the Sky Glass reviews on YouTube to see how terrible it is.......😆

Hi @pwh44
You can use Profiles on the 360 box to set up the EPG in a way that allows you to control exactly what you see listed for channels, for example just the HD channels.
The 'Shared' profile will always show all channels.
To set up favourites you have to create a profile or profiles. Each profile can set up their own set of favourite channels. Go via the settings menu, or press the profile button on the side of the remote control.

I have tried that but it does not work. I set up my profile containing all of the HD channels. The problems was that I selected a HD channel by using the original channel number ,whilst my profile was active the profile would not accept the channel number. The HD profile would only accept the profiles new channel number, assigned by my profile, so I would still have to scroll all the HD channels in my profile to select the channel I wanted. I then could not switch from my profile to All Channels, the system kept switching back to my HD profile. The only way to select All Channels was to delete my HD profile. Another simple issues is that if you are watching any channel and you press the guide to select another channel using All Channels, you have to scroll back through all the channels to the top of the guide to select select All Channels. There is no direct way of selecting All Channels. Sorry to say not a very good idea.

You can use the speech button and say the channel name. This will hightlight the channel in the EPG so you can see what's on, and press OK to switch to that channel.
You can also re-order the channels, but not the channel numbers within your chosen profile. To reorder the channels click on Settings > Profiles > Manage Channels > this brings up a screen where you can either rearrange the channels, or add and remove channels.
I then could not switch from my profile to All Channels, the system kept switching back to my HD profile. The only way to select All Channels was to delete my HD profile.
When in your profile, press the Home button to bring up the EPG, then press the Home button again and it takes you to the top of the EPG with the "Today" box highlighted, if you then press right and click on My Channels - you then have the option to view All Channels and the other various categories.
You can also click on the contextual button (3 dots) when on a channel in the EPG and select Browse all available channels.
You can also click on the profile button on the side of the 360 remote to select the Shared profile which has All channels.
Another simple issues is that if you are watching any channel and you press the guide to select another channel using All Channels, you have to scroll back through all the channels to the top of the guide to select select All Channels. When searching on the EPG press the Home button, then right and it takes you to the top of the guide with All Channels highlighted. If you then click on All Channels it brings up a category list Documentaries, Entertainment, International, Kids etc so you can go straight to that section.

Thanks for your help, but you should not have do the above method if Virgin provided a HD selection category. My point is the TV360 is not very well designed and it does not perform the basic functions as the TVivo. It not the first that an upgrade is worse than the previous version.
