turn on soundbar with tv360 remote

Can I use tv360 remote to switch on a Bose soundbar

Is the sound  bar connected to the tvs arc HDMI port?.My 360 box recognises my Sharp sound bar and controls my LG TV. They all switch on and off together with the red standby button on the 360 remote.

Not connected to tv by HDMI but with supplied lead via optical output from sound bar. There is no hdmi output socket
