YouTube app sound issues

Has anyone noticed issues with sound using the YouTube app on Virgin 360?

I'm no audiophile, but it sounds completely drowned out - almost like multiple channels being forced down a single route, and different sound elements fighting for dominance.

I have the box wired directly into my TV, with a 2.1 soundbar connected via optical.

I never had the issue with Sky Q, Fire TV, or built-in apps to the TV.

Anyone experiencing anything similar?

Re: YouTube app sound issues

Hi there @jaydeedaz

Thank you so much for your first post to our community forums and welcome to the team, it's great to have you here.

I am so sorry to hear that you are facing issues regarding your YouTube audio. To confirm, are you experiencing any other issues with sound on any other channels or apps?

Are you able to upload a video at all of the audio issues?

Re: YouTube app sound issues

The first thing to do is to remove the soundbar and report back on whether you get this problem through your TV speakers.
