Watching episodes that have already aired

I had a programme series linked and that night two episodes were aired back to back. Series link recorded the first episode but did not record the second which is frustrating as it was the final
I can see the episode in episode view however the only option is record as the show has already aired and will not be shown again. It’s not available on mtv catch up

This isn’t the first time that I can’t view shows that have already aired and was wondering if anyone knows a way around this or is this just another downside compared to Sky

1: Which TV box do you have - TiVo, V6 or TV360? https://www.virginmedia.com/care/tv-fault/which-tv-box 

2: What's the programme and what date/time/channel was it broadcast on?

I've checked my 360 and it's the same as yours.

Looking at the other episodes on catch up, they stay there for 30 days, I would expect the two episodes broadcast on the 22nd to be added to catch up in the next week or so (but not over the bank holiday period)
