Hi, I have a Virgin 360 box and a minibox. UHD programs recorded on the VM 360 show up in grey text when i try to watch them on the minibox (and therefore cannot be watched). Is this a restriction of the minibox?

It’s not a restriction but a sign that the connection to the minibox is not good enough to transmit UHD to it.
Check the network connections in settings on the minibox and run the diagnostics there. It should confirm what I’ve said.
You likely have the connection as WiFi and will have to do the usual things to improve this WiFi connection.
Of course, Ethernet connection would likely fix this issue.

It may sound silly but is the mini box connected to a 4K TV.

Thank you for your message. I had already checked that and it shows that i can watch UltraHD. I also did a speed test where the tv is and i am getting circa 450mbps next to the tv. the Tv is also connected on the 5ghz frequency.
