Virgin m50 and VTV 360

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone with the m50 (54mbps) package could tell me what speed they usually get

Secondly I was wondering if anyone with the Virgin TV 360 could tell me if it's any good- it's quite a new box and there aren't many reviews on it online.

Thanks in advance and I wish you a great evening 🙂

Re: Virgin m50 and VTV 360

Are you not getting the speed you expect?  I am assuming you only have broadband at the moment, from a quick look at the deals its £49 for 200mb broadband and TV 360 for 18 months.

  • If you have had Virgin TV before then that would have been Tivo software and 360 is horizon software so there is a big difference and if you have any ideas about what features are important to you can search on this forum.

Re: Virgin m50 and VTV 360

Hi @Marshal

The following link shows the speeds to expect https://www.virginmedia.com/shop/broadband/speeds

Those speeds are for a wired connection. A wirless connection will always be slower and VM don't guarantee wireless speeds.

The following link is an FAQ about the 360 https://www.virginmedia.com/help/virgin-tv-360

There are a few You Tube videos you can watch to see how it works. An example of somebody reviewing it when it first came out is below.

I've had the 360 for over a year, I upgraded from the older V6. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the older box most of which I never used, but I'm very happy with it.
