The 360 remote will now not turn on the tv but will carry out all other functions any suggestions

Is "one power" still set to on for the red button or is it the white TV button that's not working.

It’s the white tv button all other button work fine.

I would try factory resetting and repairing the remote if you haven't already,

Press and hold the TV and Rewind button for 10 seconds which will factory reset the 360 remote.

After the factory reset, try pressing TV and 0 button for 10 seconds and it should now force pairing.
