Virgin 360 boxes not talking to each other

I've recently changed over to 360 with both existing V6 boxes having the software upgrade. One box in the kitchen, the other in the lounge and able to watch recordings on both boxes, regardless of which box set up the recording. 

The lounge box was replaced by VM 5 weeks ago due to age and, since then, recordings set in the kitchen can't be watched in the lounge. Works fine the other way round. Error message says that the lounge box is unable to contact the kitchen box when trying to watch recordings.

It must be as a result of the new box going into the lounge. Anyone got any ideas of how to fix this without calling out a technician? Thanks

If you swap your 2 TV360 boxes around, does the issue follow?

It may be an issue with power-saving settings if so, is the donor box set for Active Start or Fast Start?
