Virgin 360 Recordings

I can’t record anything new or see any previous recordings on our 2nd 360 box, I get the following error message:

‘The TV box you selected is offline, or isn’t connecting right now. Turn it on to check the recording settings.’

Any advice?

Hi Dobbo57,

Please try the following :-

Set both boxes to either Fast Start or Active Start.

Go to Settings > System > Standby power consumption. You have 3 choices.
Fast start  - the 360 starts quickly but is less energy efficient
Active start - more energy efficient than fast start but the box takes a little longer to start up
Eco start - the most energy efficient and probably the one you're using. It uses minimal power but takes a while to start.

The first two options are best if you have a mini box and want to watch a recording on it.

Have you checked that the 2nd box is actually connected to the broadband?

Home > Settings > Network

If you scroll to the first option Change Connection Type it will tell if and how it's connected and give you the opportunity to change how your connected.

Below that is the Diagnostics screen which gives a visual representation of how or if  you are connected
