Virgin 360 Mini Box Install

Hi All,

Set for the ulimate oomph install next week, main box and hub will be easy to install in the front living room.

However cant find the clear answer around the Mini 360 Box. So my question, is it needing a cable/coxial from the main sorce or does it run on alone on wifi/ethernet like the Sky Boxes mini boxes.

Hope you can help!!

Marty!

Re: Virgin 360 Mini Box Install

Hi,

The Mini 360 Box will require a cable for watching TV which will require access back to the main box, also it will have access to wifi (or ethernet cable) for access to APP's (like iplayer, YouTube)

Hope this helps,

John

Re: Virgin 360 Mini Box Install

Thanks John,

Next question, will the engineer run this cable, or what is the max they will do?

Do you know if its a standard Coaxial Cable i could run pre-visit?

Thanks In Advance

Cathal

Re: Virgin 360 Mini Box Install

Hello

The engineer will run the coaxial cable, there is no limit on the length, the cable is not standard coaxial and you cannot use any 3rd party cable as the cable that is supplied by VM is made for them, and using 3rd party cable is against the T&C.
