My box did a software upgrade and all my recordings are gone. Is there any way to get them back?

I'm afraid that isn't possible on any VM boxes.
The information (point 2) contained in the packaging with your new remote(s) would have indicated that recordings will be lost
Screenshot below.
EDIT - If it wasn't an upgrade from V6 to 360 then the recordings shouldn't have been lost.

Sorry if this wasn't advised prior to the change however any saved recordings would be deleted as @newapollo also advised.
Was this part of an agreed deal?
