Hi,
Tried to upgrade my V6 to 360 but it fails with error MA1/4/40 and says try again later. Have tried a few times since but no joy. A bit of help from support would be appreciated.

This error often means that your box wants to install 360, but your account is still setup for TiVo.
You're best to call VM to rectify this. 150 from a VM phone, or 0345 4541111 from any other phone.
