Using two 360 boxes in the same room

brightonjohn

I'm fed up with my upstairs box never being seen by the downstairs box but I would still like to use the storage. I need to feed the coox into both boxes but can't remember what the attenuation should be.

Is there a best way of acheiving this please?

Do you have 2 separate co-ax connection points in the rooms you want to use the 2 boxes?

If yes, and you have faults with one of those that are causing service issues, then you should report those via the usual routes.

If no, then you'll need a non-faults callout @ £25 to install one.

I'm assuming you mean the box downstairs can't see the upstairs box on the network for some reason so you can't access the recordings on that box from downstairs, is it possible to run an ethernet cable to the hub instead of using wifi if that's the problem.

That sounds like a good and effective solution. As soon as I am clearn of COVID I'll get onto it. Can you help me witha phone number please?

Not sure which solution you mean, but VM's CS number is 150 (from a VM line) or 0345 4541111 (from any other phone)

Looking at some of your previous posts you have wifi pods and tried connecting the 360 to the pod using a ethernet cable but it didn't work, I did read somewhere if you connect a ethernet cable you need to turn the pod off and then back on to reconnect to the hub, did that not work.

Many thanks - that's the one.

I'm sure that I tried that but without sucess.

Bottom line now is that I want rid of the TV in the bedroom and so can make better and fuller use of the 360 if its downstairs

Hey brightonjohn, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry you are having some storage issues.

I can look into this for you if you are looking to get your box moved.

I will send you a PM, so we can discuss this in further details. Thanks
