Upgrade Failed

Had my 360 remotes arrive yesterday but every upgrade attempt has failed quoting error MA1/4/40.  Any clues on how to resolve this?  Thanks.

Try unplugging the box for 5 minutes and trying again.

Failing that see

None of these worked.  Two calls, one call back, multiple reboots and being on hold for so long I assumed I'd been dropped.  😕😕😕

I'm sorry to hear of the issues that you're having trying to upgrade your box from V6 to 360, I have been able to locate you on our system and can see that there is an issue with the signal levels on your box that could be causing the issues. Are you happy for me to try and put the migration through from here? I dont want to do it without asking in case you are watching or recording something important.

Thank you for the response. Sadly we don't work after 9pm and so wouldn't be able to action this at that time.

I've booked a technician for you in regards to the issues migrating the box who can replace these if needed. You can find confirmation of the date and time via your online account

Please let me know if there are any problems with the date or time and I can look to reschedule this for you. Please also ensure there is someone over the age of 18 present at the time of the visit. If you need to change or cancel your appointment you can also do this online or via the MyVM app by 4pm the day before the appointment.

If you do miss an agreed appointment for any reason, a £25 missed appointment charge will be applied to your account on the day of the appointment.
