Unable to play any recording "oops something went wrong"

Since yesterday I have been unable to play any recording made on my 360 box. After pressing play I get a spinning symbol and saying the programme will start shortly and then it pops up top right corner to say "oops something went wrong. Please try again". Doesn't matter which profile I use, I'm unable to watch anything recorded!

Re: Unable to play any recording "oops something went wrong"

Are you watching on your main box? Or, if you have multiple boxes - are you trying to watch on the mini?

Can you set new recordings?

Yes, using main box.

Have just done a factory reset (keeping recordings obviously as I actually want to watch them....and still the same).

Yes I can schedule new recordings.

Edit....it also appears I can play them on the mini box!

Re: Unable to play any recording "oops something went wrong"

Good morning @DanHayes1881

Welcome to the forums and thank you for taking the time to post.

I have done some diagnostics on your account,  I can see that we are going to need to book an engineer to come and get this resolved.

I will need to pop you over a PM so that I can confirm your address.

Kind regards,

Zak_M

Re: Unable to play any recording "oops something went wrong"

I believe I have found the route of the problem.

I have two boxes...both with the ability to record onto the box. If either box is in standby you can not watch recordings on the other box. Take it out of standby and it appears to work. They were both set to active start but I have now changed them to fast start. Let's see if that wakes them up.

Re: Unable to play any recording "oops something went wrong"

Thank you for coming back to me.

That shouldn't be the case, you should be able to still view the recordings.

Keep an eye on things and if the issues still do persist then do let me know and we can get the engineer out to you.

Kind regards,

Zak_M

Re: Unable to play any recording "oops something went wrong"

Had the same issue the other day I think it was a update issue as a few things started popping up. Both my box wer in active start. I turned off both box's and the modem fire 10 mins and it was back to normal after that.
