TV360 ITV+1 wrong regional news

Since installing TV360 I get Calendar regional news on ITV and Grandad regional news on ITV+1 on both V6 boxes. Virgin Media say it's the broadcasters fault, not theirs, and they can't fix it. I live in West Yorkshire (Leeds).

I think they are talking **bleep**. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Hi @janicepriestley

I'm afraid you can't 'fix it'. What you've been told is correct.

I've included a link <<< here >>> to  a thread that explains the reasons for BBC local channels, however the same applies to ITV local regional channels too.

As explained- ITV decided you can not have you own local news on ITV1+1.

ITV1+1 Yorkshire no longer exists.

When ITV upgraded all their regions to HD operation, they "rationalised" the +1 loops to 4 key English regions:

London

Granada (covering Lancashire, Yorkshire, Border & Tyne Tees)

Central West (covering the Midlands, Wales, West & South West)

Meridian South East (covering the South & South East, & Anglia)

Sky/Freesat boxes default to the same regions, as do Freeview TVs.

VM 350BB 2xV6 & Landline. Freeview/Freesat HD, ASDA/Tesco PAYG Mobile. Cable customer since 1993
