Recent setup with all new equipment from VM. Now the TV box (V6?) is completely unresponsive and won't switch on via the remote nor the button on the front. There are no lights either. Power supply is working fine, I've checked the output with a meter. Called the 0345 number to report a fault but the hold time was excessive, so I'm posting here for resolution. Box has barely been in service for a month.

You can check which type of box you have, on https://www.virginmedia.com/care/tv-fault/which-tv-box
All new installs have been to TV360 since several years, V6 are only now available as fault replacements or swapouts from TiVo.
Staff should be along to this thread in a day or so.
