TV 360 Sound problem

My new TV 360 box ( made by Humax) has a superb picture quality BUT at times there is a problem with sound breaks which last long enough to lose one or two words during somebody talking.

 

Anyone else have this problem?

If you go to settings/audio & video I have dolby audio to always convert, but it may be worth trying different settings either follow content or disabled, see if it makes a difference

Have you tried using a different HDMI cable for your box? Is it certain channels that are affected or is it random?

Hi Zoie

I'm using an HDMI cable supplied by Virgin. The sound problem occurs on any channel.

I didn't have this problem with the V6 box.

The sound skip problem occurs on any channel. Very annoying. 

I'm thinking about reverting back to the V6 box ! I haven't returned it yet.

Has there been any change? Do you have sound coming from your TV or a different sound system?

I do use a sound bar, this was in place with the previous V6 box with no problems. 

I'm still getting sound skips.

According to other messages these v360 boxes were on trial, I didn't know this!

...........

A Virgin man phoned me the other day to pick up my V6 box as I hasn't got round to return it.

He said it was needed for refurbishment for a new customer as they couldn't could get more from China and were short of them!
