Are virgin dropping TNT Sports as part of the maxit package ? Anybody that wants it will now will have to pay extra.

Yes, Virgin is dropping TNT Sports from the maxit package. Customers who want to continue accessing TNT Sports will now have to pay an additional fee.

My understanding is that TNT Sports remains in Maxit while you are in contract.

TNT Sports remains part of the Maxit TV package. However, it is now a legacy package. So if ANY changes are made to the account, be they TV related or not, you will be automatically moved to Mega TV which no longer contains them.
