Hi All,
Hope you're all well and enjoying the fact that summer may have actually arrived!
I've just been upgraded to the TV 360 box. I have routed the HDMI to a Yamaha AV receiver and then to the TV. I have 5.1 speakers set up around the room. I have set the sound setting on the 360 box to Follow Content. How can I test that the sound ACTUALLY follows the content to 5.1 where available?
I tried a sound test video on the YouTube app on the box and it was definitely not 5.1 - the rear speaker test sounds came through the front speakers. At the very least I'd like YouTube sound to be 5.1 where available.
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks

There is no 5.1 on the Youtube app and several apps are also not 5.1 by choice of the app provider - Netflix and Prime do have some 5.1.
Most films on the Sky Cinema channels are 5.1.
There is no 5.1 on any ITV channel but there is occasional 5.1 on BBC channels.
Next up on BBC are:
BBC1 - Ghosts US - Tue 11.45pm
BBC2 - The Gallows Pole - Wed 9pm
