Hi,
I have a fault with our 360 box, in that during watching of Prime, Netflix and YouTube (so any streaming app I suspect) the box randomly quits the app back to normal TV. Is this a known fault and anything I can do about it?

I haven’t had any reply yet. I suspect it’s a firmware issue but you would think more people would be having the same problem?

I don't know if this will work for you, but I've had that problem in the past.
A few times were because the 360 had lost it's internet connection (the light on the front of the 360 started flashing, and I rebooted to get the connection again)
I also had an HDMI cable which had worked itself loose and only affected apps. Re-seating the HDMI solved the issue.

Thanks for the advice.
I have checked, but no loose cables and I also have a hard wired connection to the router, so shouldn’t be a problem.
waiting for Virgin’s response….. might be a while?!

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.
Sorry to hear of the streaming issue. Can you confirm, is it happening to one of or both boxes? Also, both are either turned off or on eco mode, can you pop them on so we can run some tests 🙂

Hi John,
im not sure if it is both boxes, as one is more frequently used for this type of thing than the other. If I had to guess, I’d say it’s just the living room box.
it is currently on standby. How do we setup the tests?
