Start up 360

I set up the new broadband and then lid up the tv. We ended up having to go wireless as we can’t have broadband near the tv and broadband box is upstairs and now I can’t even watch programmes live error comes up

I'm so sorry to hear this issue is still happening, I know you mentioned earlier in the thread there was an error code, can you confirm what this was? 

What happens when you turn on the box is there a message at all?

Error CS2004 comes up when I go to watch live tv

virgin-tv-error-codes/cs2004  shows that you need to check  your cabling.

Since you say that you can't have the VM coaxial cabling in the room with your TV/ 360 box then should consider taking out a VM Stream subscription as I suggested in post 7

You don't need the extra cabling for the Stream TV 

The Stream box plugs into your TV and get's the signals for the TV and catch up and on demand  via wifi from your hub.

Hi regarding my setting up the live tv. Sorry I been quiet but I was waiting to get a tp link which I have got now but still it doesn’t not seem to connect and give me live tv

Which box are you trying to connect, is it a 360 or stream box.

360 is on the left and stream on the right.

Do you now have the VM coaxial cabling in the room with your TV/ 360 box?

If not then live TV won't work.
