Soundbar worked fine with Sky, but the audio/lip synch is so bad on VM that it makes tv unwatchable. I've tried every ms delay setting but it's still bad. Any advice appreciated

If your soundbar has a HDMI-IN connect the 360 to that and set the 360 audio setting to follow content.

A bit more detail of your TV, soundbar and connections may get you a more informed answer.
