Sound drop out and sound delay

Hi

We have just got our 360 box but from the off we have suffered sound drop offs, short 1 to 2 seconds of no sound but if you rewind the sound is there on the second viewing which is weird.

Also the sound is slight offset from the picture on all channels and to be honest seems to vary depending on the channel being watch but I can guarantee which and when.

Are there any menu options on the 360 that might help ?

Gavin

Hi Gavin,

Thank you for posting on the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that you've been having some problems with the sound on your new TV 360 box.

There are some audio settings you can try changing on the 360 box to see if that fixes the issue. To navigate to the settings, please press the home button, scroll across to the cog icon at the right side of the menu bar. Once selected, please scroll across to the Audio and Video settings.

Where it says Dolby Audio, can you please confirm what is set? If you aren't already, can you please select 'always convert'?

Secondly, if you're having issues with the sound and picture out of sync, you can set an audio delay to help get the picture and audio back in sync.

Please let us know how you get on with the above and if you need any further help.

Beth
