Sky sports glitching

I'm having picture issues with sky sports main event and sky sports football HD.

The picture glitches,slows down and sometimes there is no picture at all, only sound. This only happens on these channels. The SD ones are fine.

I have turned off the box numerous times and it's the same problem.

My box is a horizon box.

Welcome to our Community and thanks so much for your first post - sorry that you're having issues with your Sky Sports HD channels currently. 

 

You mention you have a horizon box - do you mean one of our new 360 boxes? I have been unable to locate your account to check - I am sorry. 

 

When you have the issue, is it only during a live match or do you have the issue regardless of what is being shown?

Hi Katie.

The issue is all the time and currently the channels are showing no signal.

Again all other channels are fine.

if its a 360 box (remote control lights up in use), press the home key, arrow right till you get to cog, then select diagnostics - Theres a good chance it will say bad, in that case either your coax isn't in properly, or you have a fault which needs an engineer

Can you confirm what box you have with us? Is it one of our new 360 boxes? Are you getting the "no signal" on all channels now or just the two Sky Sports ones? 

 

Have you managed to run the diagnostics as advised by our user @mwarby

I have checked diagnostics and the only thing i see that might be a problem is signal strength is low?

I  can see that causing an issue, I have the same, but on a different channel. Sounds like you need an engineer to check levels

Do you have any similar problems on Sky Sports PL HD or More-4 HD?

And can you confirm the box you have... if you're not sure, check here
