Setting up a tv in a different room to router

I want to set up my 360 box in the bedroom but the router is in the lounge, I've been given an extension lead but not sure if I'm plugging it in properly as the lead seems to drag the router across the floor when I try to plug the other end of extraction lead into 360 box

You need to have a technician properly install the box. It will cost £25 unless it's a new installation.

Call Customer Services on 0345 454 1111/150 if you have a VM landline or wait two or three days for a VM staff member to get to your post.

Your TV360, in common with all VM's TV boxes except non-recording Stream, needs two connections:

1; The co-ax cable carries your live TV channels. This needs to be installed by VM as per the post above.

2: The internet connection via your homehub. This is ideally by Ethernet cable, but can be wireless if the signal is reliable enough.
