Set static IP on Virgin 360?

Hi,

Am I missing something or is it impossible to set a static IP on the Virgin 360. For some reason the upstairs box does not like my Pihole as DNS so I would like to route it around it without having to setup a separate vlan for 1 virgin box.

You can reserve a specific internal IP for any connected device, in your router.

But no, neither V6 nor 360 allow IP allocation as you describe.

Thanks, yes I know I can push a static IP in the same way I currently push the DNS but because this box is misbehaving rather than create a new VLAN I was hoping that like every other device I have I could set a static DNS.

VM does not provide the means of setting a static IP address for their TV boxes, so you must reserve an IP address in the hub or router's DHCP reservation range.
