Hi,

I have been using my Samsung universal remote to control my virgin 360 box but once I close the cupboard the box is in the control stops 

I suspect that the IR signal doesn't for through the cupboard doors so I have tried some IR extenders but none of them work 

Any suggestions why I can t control the box with the Samsung remote through the cupboard or an extender that will work (assuming its IR controllers?)

I am sorry you are having issues with your 360 and Samsung remote, we cannot guarantee it will work with 3rd part devices.

Has this recently started happening or is this since you programmed the remote?

It's as soon as I program the remote.

It all works fine until I close the cupboard door.

Can you confirm that the Samsung remote Wil use ir to communicate with the box?

Or can you recommend an extender that will work?

In complete honesty, I wouldn't know - we wouldn't advise on this as it's not something we have the knowledge of. 

Just to clarify also, is there a fault with your remote that was provided by ourselves?
