I see I'm not alone!

All this season, and quite probably longer, I've found football on Sky Sports almost unwatchable, the picture is so bad. It's nothing to do with live sport: the BT channels and Amazon Prime pictures are superb!

I noted on one of these forums someone suggested changing the video output setting to 1080. I did that and it made no difference,

Short of cancelling my Virgin Media account and going back to Sky, what can I do?

I am very sorry for the issues you have experienced when watching Sky Sports. 

Can you please confirm if this issue is occurring when viewing HD or SD channels ?

Unless you are on the top Oomph pack, or pay the Sky imposed £7 HD supplement your Sky Sports channels will be in SD.

I thought I had HD but it seems not. The SD pictures look as though they are from the 1950s...

Hi @maccfox 

You would need to speak to regrades to add the HD sub which is an extra £7 per month
