Can you explain a little more how & when this happens?

The instinctive answer here is to suggest a stuck "rewind" button on your remote.

 Hi @Hunter12392

It shouldn't be doing that. Is this on live programs or recorded?

Have you tried rebooting the 360?

Have you checked your remote and made sure that the rewind button isn't stuck?

It might also be worthwhile changing the 360 remote batteries or resetting the remote.

Pressing and holding the TV and Rewind button for 10 seconds will factory reset the TV 360 remote.

I bought a new remote control and the same thing happens I rewind manually and try to stop it but it just keeps rewinding I then  have to switch it off and reboot

Hi @Hunter12392

You bought a replacement 360 remote?

Or are you using a third party remote to control the box?

You could try factory resetting the 360.

To factory reset go to Settings (the cog at the end of the Home menu) > System > Factory Reset. It's actually misnamed and only a partial system reset and not a complete factory reset. You are given 2 options

Keep Recordings
Format Disk

Select Keep Recordings which means you won't lose your recordings or any links you've set up. You will have to sign into apps such as iPlayer, Prime, Netflix and ITV Hub again, and a couple of other settings may change such as standby power consumption and match frame rate.
