Remote has just suddenly stopped working

Hi just need some advice I'm currently having to control my virgin 360 box with my mobile phone via virgin tv go as over the weekend my remote control suddenly stopped working. It all lights up but refuses to work for some reason. When I press a button 8 appears all the time

Hi @JML36 

Sometimes my 360 remote freezes but if I shake it for a few seconds it starts responding again.

Have you tried changing the batteries?

You should also make sure the the Power Saving mode setting is on Fast Start.

You could also try resetting the 360 remote by pressing and holding the TV and Rewind button for 10 seconds.

To pair the 360 remote again hold down the 'TV' button and '0' button together until the Standby button starts to flash.

have you checked all the buttons just in case one is stuck.
