Keep getting message asking for remote batteries to be changed even though batteries are fresh Duracel. Any ideas ?

When you get the first low battery message ignore it, the remote will still work for a few weeks with the occasional low battery message, eventuallythe message changes and the remote will stop working, that's when you need to replace the batteries.
