Recording on V6 boxes with 360 software

I understand that the new 360 boxes have a main box and mini boxes without a hard drive so recordings are only on the main box. I also understand that the existing V6 boxes can be changed to 360 software. I have a few questions. What happens when you have 3 V6 boxes running 360 software? Does one of them become the main box and the other two like mini boxes or are they all main boxes? If I'm on one of the boxes and I set a program to record will it automatically record on that box?

All 3 boxes would become ‘main’ boxes and operate as they do today.

Thanks for the reply. So does that mean that the recordings are separate as with the V6?

So, in theory, it's possible to have 3 Humax boxes all with HDDs?

No, I don't think so.  The multiple HDD option only applies to existing V6 boxes that get the 360 software update, as far as I understand.

Re: Recording on V6 boxes with 360 software

Hello

Yes once your v6 boxes are upgraded to the v360 software there will be 3 sets of recording just like having your three v6's and just like them all recordings will be viewable  on all the boxes.
