I’m in the same position as the original poster. When I try to watch any of my UHD channel recordings, across my wired network, on the mini box I get a pop up message stating:
“You recorded this on ‘(name of main 360 box)’. The channel only lets you watch it on that box.”
This strongly suggests it is limitation of the system be that hard or software related. Would a Virgin representative please confirm the situation?

Virgin’s own ‘Ultra HD’ channel. I can watch it live on both boxes.

Thanks for coming back to us djfboo, I will get this looked into as I'm not sure if there is a limitation that prevents you from watching recordings on other boxes. I will let you know as soon as I have any further updates.

Can you confirm if the box is set to fast start or active start?
