Please can someone help The netflix app will only work if after loading for the firest time you exit out then re load is there a fix for this

Yes this is the only app I have got the issue with,

Thanks for advising it is only this App and only happening on the Mini Box, the error code you are getting is a connection issues, have you tried a different Ethernet cable, Cat 7 or above?

Hi Paul I have changed the enthernet cable but haven't had a problem with the TV or any other app, also if it was a connection problem surely it wouldn't work when you come out then go back in, as said can live with it but just a pain

Why would you need Cat 7 ? Cat 5 would probably be fine and Cat 5-e, Cat 6, and Cat-6a all as good for this use.

Edited to add: I could be wrong if have over 100 metres of ethernet cable going from the hub to the box. 🤔

 

Thanks for coming back to us @Clive14p, and I'm sorry to hear of this fault.

Can you please confirm if this is effecting multiple set top boxes you're using or just one in particular?

If this effects just one set top box, is this the main box or is it a mini set top box on our 360 services?

Does the effected set top box(es) sit in standby mode overnight, to allow all software updates to take place?

It is only affecting the mini box and the box is live all the time only have to wake it ie press the red button on the remote when nit in use after a few hours, can you do software updates manually on the mini box

Sorry to hear this and just to confirm its working on everything else fine? 

Have you tried to switch it completely off from the socket leave it and then turn it back on after a few minutes? 

Is it giving you any error codes at all?
