Hi, I'm having the same problem. Main box working fine but second box thinks main is off and can't play anything recorded on first. I've reset both and WiFi hub and no luck.

Hi @Emmals1992
Go to Settings > System > Standby power consumption. You have 3 choices.
Fast start - the 360 starts quickly but is less energy efficient
Active start - more energy efficient than fast start but the box takes a little longer to start up
Eco start - the most energy efficient and probably the one you're using. It uses minimal power but takes a while to start.
The first two options are best if you have a mini box and want to watch a recording on it

Hi, I've done this. Both are on fast. The virgin tv go app also can't connect to main box though it's working fine.

Hi Emmals1992,
Welcome and thank you for posting.
I am sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with the connection to your main box.
Can you please check that all connections are secure and without damage?
When attempting to watch recordings, do you get an error message at all?
Thanks,

Hi, all wires seem fine. I can watch recordings on box 1 but can't access them on box 2 and when I try I get a message saying box 1 is off when it's not. The app also says the same. Box 2 works fine for on demand.

Hi Emmals1992,
Just a thought, are both boxes on the same software version, you can check by pressing Home, Settings, Info, About, you will then see Build version 4.43 or 4.44.
Also are both boxes connected directly to the Virgin hub by ethernet or wifi, or are you using your own router with the Virgin hub set to modem mode, this can sometimes cause problems.

Hi,
Both are 4.43 and are connected via wifi to virgin hub.

Hi,
Is the main 360 box c!ose enough to the hub to try connecting with a ethernet cable to see if it makes any difference, if it doesn't help you might need an engineer to replace a possible faulty box.
