We are having exact same issue as olymicadam after upgrading to 360 everything used to work fine before. The bbc iplayer app just gets stuck on the opening screen how did we arrange for an engineer?

Do other internet-based functions on your 360 work ok? OnDemand programmes, other streaming apps etc?

This will help ID if this is an app-specific issue, or a general internet-connectivity one.

Yes netflix and amazon work fine

So if some apps work and others don't it's not an internet connectivity issue. The obvious first thing, if you've not already, is to reboot your box.

If that doesn't solve it - can you clarify which apps are having problems? Your post was split off from someone else's thread, so it may be useful to establish what your specific issues are.

We only use netflix, amazon and bbc they all worked fine before the 360 upgrade

netflix and amazon work fine

i originally thought bbc was working as it was stuck on this open screen for ages and i gave up

 then i thought let me see what happens if i wait for a few mins and it eventually went onto the choose and account page but it was stuck on there for a min

then loaded up this blank page after choosing an account

Before finally loading up program selection page

this all used to happen within seconds before the upgrade my children dont have patience to take this long to load up their fav bbc programs

even though we dont use it i thought id check itv

similar happen its blank screen for a few mins then the opening screen come on for a few mins

 then program selection screen loads without any pics

then finally they load

We have turned out box on and off severally times is there anything else we can test??

Even program selection in the itv app is awful take soo long

same with trying exit

the program when we finally launch bbc keep freezing every few mins!!!

Are you having issues with live TV as well as the iplayer and ITV apps?

Are you having any broadband issues at the moment or when the problems occur?
