Hi Just had my Virgin TV installed. I have the 360 package with 500 mb broadband. I get pixelation on some channels plus my broadband speed is only showing around 50mb. My friend had the same package but said they had to install a booster. How do I go about testing this. Ps, I installed this myself and have checked all the cables to ensure they are all tightly connected.
Just tried the speed test on speed test.net and it's 220mb still less than 50% what it should be.
Did you try the spped test via ethernet or over wifi?
VM always argue speed lower than package is caused by wifi and multiple devices although to some extent I agree but not to the drop in speed alot of people get. I have always got 2/3 of the speed at my device but sam knows claims i have 1gb to my hub4.
Pixelation, is this SD channels or HD channels as I find SD to be poor on a 4k TV

Pixellated pictures on live TV are often the sign of a signal fault. If you've rebooted your box once, then there's likely a fault somewhere, so call VM and report it. You're likely to need either an engineer visit or a replacement box, depending on what VM's remote diagnostics turn up. They can do these while you're on the phone to them.
First check the automated faults line for any existing issues in your area that could be the cause: 0800 5610061. If nothing's reported, assume VM don't know about your fault and you'll need to call them.
