Pair 360 box with MAGIC tv control on new LG 43UQ98006LA

I have read numerous advice messages and nothing seems to work including entering ZIGGO in Universal Control Settings set up. I should add I am a layman when it comes to technology so a cradle to grave explanation would be really appreciated.

Have you tried Ziggo,  Set-Top Box, that is how it shows on my LG.

my set top box shows Virgin Medis. Am I right in thinking I have to change set top box from virgin to ziggo? if so how would I do that? Many thanks

When you try and pair the magic remote to the 360 box it automatically detects it's a  Virgin box but you can manually choose Ziggo.

really appreciate your advice. have tried following
all settings, general, devises, external devices, universal control settings HDMI 1 (VIRGIN SETTOP BOX) manage settings- gives me an option to OK or delete settings. Have tried before to delete settings. Have deleted settings and started setting. This gives access to SET TOP BOX. Set location ok then i have a list of service providers. Virgin, Sky, and BT, None of these allows me to pair up tv control to tv360 box. AND by magic after trying a couple of times Ziggo appears from nowhere AND THIS ALLOWS ME TO CHANGE TV CHANNELS VIA TV MAGIC CONTROL. Many many thanks as I have been driving my wife crazy. If I could do a smily face I would. Cheers
