PIN for Box Sets and Movies

Hi,

Recently had Virgin 360 installed at home.  I have the main box in my living room and the other in the kids' room.  I've noticed that my kids can currently watch any rating of film through the 'Box Sets and Movies' menu option on the home screen i.e. it does not ask for a PIN when viewing an movie rated 15 or 18.

On the screen with 'Home - Guide - Apps - Catch up - Box Sets & Movies - Recordings -->then the settings icon', within that settings icon, there is no option to stop this from happening.

How do I sort this?

In fact, I've just noticed none of the SKY Movies channels have any PIN requirements, everything rated 15 and above has no viewing restriction.

I may be mistaken but I think that the default age restrictions are time based around the 9pm watershed.

There may be a setting available to expand the restrictions outside of the watershed hours.

I see, thanks.

In that case, can someone tell me how to change the settings to stop access to cert 15/18 films after the watershed on Virgin 360?

Hi smck75,

Thanks for posting 🙂

You can set a parental pin for this- Select Help & Settings on the Home screen> Choose Parental Controls then enter your current PIN. If you don't have one set already this is usually set to 1234 as default.
