I'm an existing customer with the Ultimate Oomph package and I would like to upgrade my two V6 boxes to the new 360 software. Is this possible as I cannot see any way of doing it on my account?.
Upgrading existing boxes is currently by invitation only, as Virgin are basically making sure there are no “side effects” to doing this.
Be aware that upgrading boxes to the new platform DOES NOT preserve your recordings or any other settings your boxes use on the existing platform.

Ah, thanks nodrogd. Looks like I will have to wait for an invite.
I upgraded my two V6 boxes to the new 360 software (by invitation) more than a month ago. There have been no 'side effects' whatsoever as far as my set up is concerned.
Yes, that's what I would like to do. Good to hear it's worked without any problems for you.
Going to that link just brings up the message ''oops something went wrong''.
Again ''oops something went wrong''. I'm sure I've seen other people get the same message when they click on upgrade on their account. Don't know if it's a fault.

I did exactly that. Oomph customers are entitled to free upgrade. These things never show on account as it's not the normal bundle upgrade like adding sports etc.
Give VM call, lately best time is 8am to get through quicker.
