Hi i recently got a new contract with virgin including tv (mixit tv/big bundle) broadband and weekend phone.

however i realised the channels stated on the website have not been received.

called virgin and they said theyr unable to do anything ??

i paid for this so i should get the channels stated- if not the price should be less.   im missing a couple of channels and some of those i was kind of excited to watch. Not sure what to do and dont want to pay extra to get extra packages for something that shpuldve been included.

So its sky sports racing , sony movie classic, sony movies action, sony moviess, hum europe, (so mostly the international/asian ones)

You can see the channels you should be receiving in column 4 on the following page.

The Sony movie channels you are missing are actually there on channels 424,425 and 426.

They are now called Great Romance, Great Movies and Great Movies Action.

They were renamed as Great Movies on 25th May 2021.

The relaunched Sony Channel had different idents and programming due to inheriting some programming from its predecessor True Entertainment and on 25 May 2021, following Narrative Capital's acquisition of Sony's channels, it was rebranded as Great!

Sky Sports Racing should be available on channel 535.

Hum Europe stopped broadcasting on VM on December 8th 2020.

VM do have a separate  add on for international/asian channels -  it's called Asian Mela. You can add those channels for an additional £12 a month,

Think virgin media need to update what the page as thats false advertising as i bought the tv mostly for the hum europe and i dont think ots in the asian mela package.

To confirm are you able to view the Sony channels that are now renamed? 

What happens when you try to access Sky Racing on channel 535?
