The sound on the tv 360 box does not work and has not been for one week now. I have restarted/switched off turned off the Dolby via audio and sound on settings.

Sorry to hear you have sound issues.
I know it's a silly question but have you double checked that it isn't on mute?
Have you tried a different HDMI cable?
Do you get sound on your normal TV via freeview, blue ray players etc?
I had a problem last year with my set top box and managed to fix it by disconnecting all of my equipment from the mains.
I then disconnected all the cables, HDMI leads etc ( it was like spaghetti junction)
When I reconnected everything the sound returned.
