No lights

Hi, I've recently upgraded my v6 box to virgin 360. For some reason all the lights on the front of the box keep going off. Everything still works and if I switch it off and on at the power they come back on for a few days. Just wondered if anyone else was having  same issue.

Hi Kelly1122,

First thing to check is the box set to Eco start, go to Settings > System > Standby power consumption, if it's set to Eco start set it to Fast Start or Active Start.

You could try setting the box to fast start to see if that makes any difference or try a factory reset, just select the option to keep your recordings,  that means you won't lose your recordings and any planned recordings or series links you've set up, you will have to sign into your apps such as iPlayer, Prime, Netflix and ITV Hub again, also Match frame rate and Standby power consumption will go back to their default settings if you have changed them.

Other users in the past have reported the white light going out and some have said it seem to fix itself, it might be that your box also has this peculiarity, if the box is fully working I would be tempted to see how it goes and if it does become a major annoyance then call Virgin on 150 from a Virgin phone or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone, or wait to see if you get a response from the forum team.

 

I will try what you have suggested. I will probably just see how it goes because everything is working fine so not a major issue really. Thanks again for your help.
