No Dolby Atmos

Dolby Atmos does not appear to work on either the Amazon Prime or Disney Applications on my Virgin 360 Box. Is this sound format currently not supported by these applications and if not when will they be updated to rectify this issue.

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your soundbar. 

Is this only happening when using the streaming services? 

Is there anything listed on this thread that may help?

This only happens with the streaming services. The likes of Dolby Atmos on BT ultimate works fine. So I assume it’s a problem with the Amazon Prime and Disney App versions that the Virgin box has access to.

On my V6 there is no Dolby Atmos from Prime Video, and Dolby Vision and HDR10+ are dumbed down to HDR10. I think this applies to the 360 as well.

I wonder when Virgin will bring in an update to resolve this issue with the Prime and Disney apps.

VM doesn't develop apps, that's the job of the content providers. Amazon has to get Prime Video working properly on VM's boxes in the same was as the Fire TV Sticks do.
