My 5 doesn't work when added through Voice recognition. E.g "fireman Sam" and then it finds an episode on my 5 app but then it's just a black screen or a spinning wheel!

You've mentioned voice control, but posted in the V6 forum - the V6 doesn't have voice control.
Have you converted your V6 into a TV360? It's no longer a V6 if so - V6 has a TiVo-logo in the top-right corner of the menu, TV360 doesn't.

Technology isn't my strong point! Must be a 360 then. Still the same problem though!

If you look at the pictures in the link I posted above, you can check.
TV360 uses different software to the V6, so the advice will differ.
I've moved your post to the TV360 forum on the basis my assumption is correct. Others who use TV360 may be able to advise further.

Hi Dave,
You are correct using voice search won't play episodes that will play using the My5 app, although it will play the episodes on cartoonito. Using the My5 app directly does play the episodes.

It's the a reason for this? Seems strange that it works for the iPlayer but not the my 5 one.
Thanks Dave

Hi DaveThorn,
Thank you for your post.
Sorry to hear of the issues you've been faced with here. In regards to this - as you can appreciate the app in question is a 3rd party app and it's not something we have full control over. There can sometimes be limitations as to what can be used within that software and then with the remote. You would still be able to use the app by using the remote manually.
Cheers,
Ryan.
