Have you looked at Check service status at the top of the page? You can also a run a test on your equipment from there.
If nothing is showing you could also try the Service Status number 0800 561 0061. This often gives details of more local issues down to postcode level.
You've posted in the 360 forum, but just in case it's one of the others can you please check <<< this page >>> as it may help us pin down the problem.
What do mean by breaking up?
Is the picture pixelating? Does this happen on all channels or just certain ones.
Please can you advise of a few channels and whether they are HD or SD.
Any problems with On Demand, Catch Up or apps?
