License fee

As a protest at the BBC getting all the money from the license fee irrespective of what you watch, I was looking for a legal way to avoid paying this tax.

It appears you can watch catch up provided it is not a BBC catchup on Iplayer.

Is there any way I can have my package adjusted so that I cant receive any live TV, but can still use catchup for any non BBC channel that is currently available?

Most of the time all I watch is on Netflix or Disney+ etc anyway, its only really the news that I watch on liveTV, so the alternative is to simply cut the TV part of my package. Everything else is available on my smart TV anyway using WiFi.

Re: License fee

This is easy: cancel your VM contract (cheapest when you're a month from the end) and switch to a cheaper ISP.
