Re: Kids TV

Hi @Bewlaybro

VM gave all customers free access to extra kids channels for the recent schools half term  up until 9 March

https://news.virginmediao2.co.uk/virgin-media-gives-all-tv-customers-access-to-kids-channels-for-hal...

You may have been receiving those additional channels as part of that free offering.

You may have also recently regraded from one of the older obsolete bundles. The Ultimate Volt is now the only package that includes these extra channels for free.

You can however add the  Kids Personal_Pick  for an extra £5 per month.

With the other Personal Picks, the first one you add is an extra £7 a month, any additional ones are £5 a month. You can cancel the Personal Pick at any time by giving 30 days notice. It won't affect your contract or any discounts you have.

Should you decide to add a Personal Pick you will need to  call  150 from a Virgin landline, or 0345 454 1111, options 1,1 and 4 (Changes to your package) but best to call between 8am and 10am to avoid call queues, or late afternoon around tea time

Which TV package are you on? If it's an old "Full-House" or XL, and have recently made any changes, you'll have been moved to the current "Maxit" which is equivalent in every way except the kids channels are now a chargeable add-on as described by newapollo.

If you're on any other package, then the Freeview period has now ended and you'll need to add the kids pack to restore them.

Checking your recent bills and/or contract will ID which scenario applies

Re: Kids TV

Yes that appears to be the case, my only beef is there was no warning that this was going to happen. However after discussing this with one of the Virgin Media team this has now been explained fully
